Birds blank the Breds!! Joey Cochran pitched 6 strong innings and Mitchell Jones came in to finish..Jake Whitford and Todd Ramey both had very good games at the plate. Looks like the Dirty Birds are clicking going into the Regional...GO BIRDS!!!!

It was very identical to Griffin's. The only difference was that Griff's hit directly on the eye which displaced it while Alex's caught below the eye.

That is a strange injury. And it has happened twice to kids in the area in the last two years? That is very wierd. Best wishes to the young man on a full recovery.

Jake Whitford. I was sitting under the garden tent out in left field when this gust of wind came up and blew some dust in my eyes. Couldn't see the ball because it was a no doubter. Nice to see all these young kids going deep in these games.
