Footballfan91 in two post you A. Confirm that you know nothing about football. You watched a guy that was all state for three years, at three different positions and did not see talent. Coaches from SEC, BIG TEN, ACC, PAC10 schools saw enough talent to offer rides but you didn't. Kid goes to ND and is one of three frosh in his class to play.

I'm going to let you in on something, all state means squat. There have been thousands of kids in all states that have been all state and were not "all state" worthy lol. Hell, the kid that transferred from Arizona last season to NCC was all state in Arizona.... Case closed on my point there....

No struggling on my part. I understand talent. It does have something to do with your last name. Your parents provide the genetic makeup that creates the talent base. In this case that gene pool provided for incredible athletic talent for all four kids. In Austin's case, a lot of hard work sealed the deal.

What has no impact is how much money you have. When people like you throw out stupid comments like this it shows your ignorance of the college recruiting system. A coach, in this case Brian Kelly, makes over $3,000,000 a year to coach a team with very high expectations at a University that clearly will show you the door if you do not have success after three years. He gets to have 85 guys on his team and can have a maximum of 25 in a given year. So your saying he gives one of his very first scholarships to kid from KY who is no better than a walk on at UK talent wise. All because that kid has a dad that makes two thirds of what that coach makes (that's 2 million for you 91) to talk about football.

This 'it's all about who you know, how much money you have, what your last name is, politics' is a bunch of garbage. These two programs will play each other again in varsity football... it could be in 2 years or 50, but given the close proximity of the schools and the history between the two schools/programs, they will play again at some time.

I am going to guess Harrison County is homecoming, but not certain. What is going on with the first game of the year. I have heard some things, but seen nothing posted on here.
