Sorry i am late to this party.. there is no point for either TEAM to play eachother. 15 times out of 20 isa a blowout for the Birds. So the birds dont get better playing that game and NewCath takes a beat down. Neither team gains anything. The only people who really want to see this football game are stuck up Ft. Thomas people to get the win and stick their nose a little higher in the air. Its pointless for both sides!!

Well then it's a good thing he chose to go to HHS (to get playing time!). He got to start and got to go to ND for free! Whether his dad is Chris Collinsworth or not, he went to ND. Good for the kid. Take what life gives you! I would.

 

And GOD forbid he gets drafted in a few yrs. LOL

Hmmm interesting. I get the feeling that most of the people that want this game are from the "Hill". I for one am through and through Bird faithful and it doesn't bother me one way or another. The second part of your comment sounds eerily similar to another poster on BGP. Your "location" might explain that.

Ima agree with joe here. The ncc parents And fans dont want this game. The ft thomas folks certainly do for every reason joe said and more. They would love to embarrass the ncc football team. I know it stings them every time a ft thomas kid decides to leave and go to ncc.

I'm sure the people of Ft. Thomas are laying awake at night wishing they could play NCC just so they could embarrass their neighbors, friends, and most of all, their families! There are a large # of families living in Ft. Thomas that have kids who have or had kids attend both schools. Get over yourselves and this attitude you have about Cake Eaters. We had a great rivalry at one time; that time has passed. Let it go.

Why would it sting? Just means more room for a tuition student. It's almost like double dipping right....The Ft Thomas School system heavily relies on the tuition money each and every year whether you play Football/Basketball/Baseball or Badminton. So if a kid goes to NCC and his parents live in Ft Thomas, they are kindly giving the School system money through the tax base. And that allows space to accept a tuition student that doesn't live in town. It kind of sucks knowing that the Rich keep getting Richer doesn't it. I really don't think the Ft Thomas Schools are really worrying about being "Stung" anytime soon. Furthermore with a record of 97-3 in the past 6 years, I don't think the football team is really missing out on much......

I would rather be spending my sleepness nights worrying about how to fuel up my bus for trips to Trinity,Paducah,John Harden and Bowling Green in December.

I would want it played in years where it would be something of a game since I know the boys that grew up together would enjoy it.
