April 11, 201511 yr I am hearing that UK, along with UL, is showing strong interest in shooting guard Mychal Mulder (Vincennes University/JUCO). He's 6'4 185 lb, jumps well, and shoots it at a high level ( 46% 3FG). I have seen him play in person several times, and I have been impressed with his ability to make 3's at a high clip.

At the time, I would have taken the three McDonald's All-Americans over Chris Lofton. And I will 100% take Ulis over Bolden. And I would 90% take Briscoe (haven't seen him enough).

And I would 90% take Briscoe (haven't seen him enough). And what people ignore about the whole Chris Lofton debate is that the folks he was "passed over" for ended up being all SEC performers. Not as if it was a bunch of scrubs. Recruiting is not an exact science, but you give me 10 All Americans and you try your luck with 10 local 3 star heroes and I will bet on my team every day of the week.

I do know that I trust the eye of Calipari when it comes to players especially guards that he thinks can play in his system. Even if he is just a backup plan which he undoubtably is, the fact that Cal would reach out to him at all is enough for me.
