Old enough to remember when Frank Robinson was traded.

OK, just wondering.

Milt Pappas.

Cried my eyes out when I learned Robbie was traded.

I, on the other hand, was ecstatic.

Curious as to why you think that?

B/c he was a terrible baseball player. There is a reason he was traded 4 times the year the Reds traded him then was magically out of baseball. He was a train wreck of a person, and ball player.

He hustled. I can hustle.

It's just that IMO he's blocking Meso from becoming a very good catcher.

I think Mesoraco's inability to hit on the major league level has been the biggest culprit.

How in the world would we know? He never gets a shot.

Rose = arrogant jerk and hillbilly - nice combo eh

Giamatti forever, Rose never!

What is wrong with being a hillbilly? :idunno:

He hit above 270 all his seasons with the Reds except one year. Never struck out more than 100 times. Stole at least 30 bases during his tenure except his last year. Was an excellent fielder. Plus he gave everything he had. He was a pretty good player, not great, but not the scrub you make him out to be.

He was an odd guy, but nothing to hate about him. He's one of my favorites I've watched.

He also had an 8.7 WAR

From Cincinnati, you know, the town that NKY aspires to be associated with. Hillbillies.

Only because NKYians would be the best drivers around.

I really hated Edwin Encarnacion. I would've rather had the Gapper play third base. Eric Milton is probably next.

E5, good call.

Francisco Cordero drove me crazy!!! Felt like everytime I watched him, he blew a lead. J.J. Hoover is slowly taking his spot.
