The guy's got a great head for the game with a lot of great insights and he took the point on a lot of Louisville's recruiting while he was an assistant here. Seems still too unproven as a head coach despite his nice season at FIU. All in all, it's strange, but not as strange as it might be.

I do not see it as an upgrade to Tubby, so if you aren't going to upgrade, why fire the coach?

Very interesting. He apparently can recruit, which could be something Minnesota is looking for.

He's a good, young, energetic, basketball mind. I think it's a hire with a lot of potential upside.
