It is a shame that we get on here and question a family's decision about where to send their kids to school. As a parent, i want what is best for my kids, period! As a parent of a fellow WV basketball player, i would love for the Moeves to stay and help build our program and help us win. However, i am not going to judge or be critiical of a parent that wants to do what they think is best for their children. Let's close this thread and start talking about basketball!

What if what they think is best for their children is wrong? I think they want to move their kids for selfish reasons and not because they think it is best for there kids.

That is their decision and they will have to live with that. That is a family decision and shouldn't impact anyone else on here.

But it does. It impacts the community, the other players, the school, and the coaches. When Maddox took his kids to Gallatin, it impacted GCHS, the basketball program, and some people in the community. When parents transferred their sons to W-Town, did that not impact you? I am saying "you" because previously you claimed to be the former Grant Coch, not to try to "out" you.

11 pages of this nonsense. 15 posts about Shane Hall and 8 pages of Hatton talk. Hall or Hatton would beat both the older Moeves brothers 1:2.

I agree! These players are both good but they are not head and shoulders above the top to middle portion of players in the 9th. If they stay great, if they go great it is really not that big of a deal IMO.

I'm not sure if you are referring to the Moeves' attending NCC in the bold statement but if so...I'm not so sure that's going to happen. Walton has been having open gyms for the last few weeks and the Moeves have been attending. Surely, if they were going to leave Walton then they wouldn't be sending their boys to Walton's open gym -- needless to say that wouldn't be right.

Well they are pulling "Double Duty" cause they were also working out with the NewCath players the past couple weeks as well.

That would be your opinion. I don't agree with your opinion. I do believe its their decision to make. The family will decide what's right/wrong or best for their situation.

Zing !!!!!

Is Hanover scouting these kids? If not, then we are making too big a deal about them.

Does Hanover play basketball? Just kidding. I've seen these kids play for years and neither could measure up to Nate McGovney and he went D3.

Are the Moeves brothers playing pickup games in Lexington too? I'm sure they could be used to improve the Uk pickup games.

Seems as though they have been covering a few open gyms. Good for them.

I do not disagree at all. However, do not hide it under the cloak of getting a "Catholic education". If you want to send your kids somewhere else to have a better chance for athletic success then just say it. One other item that NO ONE wants to seem to address.....if McNeil, Burns and a few others were still at Walton would getting a Catholic education even be an issue???? I'm guessing not!
