  1. What ever impact that they have on the basketball program would be just an added bonus......since they went there for the catholic education.
  2. The girls knew before Monday night that Coach Anderson was leaving. As far as who will replace him....that's hard to say. There are a few possible candidates. The biggest issue Walton had this year was that they were so young...so from a pipe line standpoint things look pretty good. That obviously will change if Ginn and/or Thacker leave and who knows what them two will do. It would be a bigger surprise to see Ginn leave than Thacker.
  3. No, she used to coach middle school girls. She did not coach last year.
  4. My post wasn't real clear. I was not saying that it was Mr. Anderson that was causing problems. He certainly does know the game. As far as Coach Anderson's brother and sister-in-law....YES - they are a major problem along with the person you mentioned running out on to the field at North Oldham.
  5. If you were a little more informed then you would know that the coaches are not the AD's responsibility -- that is the job of the Principle. The ironic thing is.....the majority of the problems are caused by Coach Anderson's brother and sister-in-law. They are simple a mess. There is one other family/father that is causing problems and he simply is uneducated and has no idea what he is talking about. The other sad thing is......someone from either WV High School or the WV Athletic Department feels the need to share things with Lawnboy. I'm sure Lawnboy is a nice guy but this kind of stuff does not need to be shared with anyone. My guess is....shame on the Athletic Director for sharing the dirty laundry. As for One4One.........:deadhorse: You're dragging the family name down.
  6. I do not disagree at all. However, do not hide it under the cloak of getting a "Catholic education". If you want to send your kids somewhere else to have a better chance for athletic success then just say it. One other item that NO ONE wants to seem to address.....if McNeil, Burns and a few others were still at Walton would getting a Catholic education even be an issue???? I'm guessing not!
  7. Seems as though they have been covering a few open gyms. Good for them.
  8. I'm not sure if you are referring to the Moeves' attending NCC in the bold statement but if so...I'm not so sure that's going to happen. Walton has been having open gyms for the last few weeks and the Moeves have been attending. Surely, if they were going to leave Walton then they wouldn't be sending their boys to Walton's open gym -- needless to say that wouldn't be right.
  9. He certainly created this entire mess. I wouldn't expect you to understand since you do not have a son in the program.
  10. As a Walton/Verona resident I would tend to agree with Weakside on this one. They Moeves family have not handled this situation very well nor have their boys. If you want to move and go to another school.....that's fine but don't continue to take advantage of your access to the school gym (the school should just take the keys back to the gym) and you shouldn't allow your kids to bad mouth a school that they continue to attend. These things are going on and I believe that is what has this community, as well as their friends, upset. The million dollar question would be --- would they be considering a Catholic education if McNeil and Burns were still at WV??? Absolutely not! From what I can tell, they are pretty nice people however the way they have handled this situation has left a lot to be desired. This will certainly be a great teaching lesson for all parties involved.
