I read Goodwin will test the waters but Cal's tweets sound like he's gone. Can't say I blame him too much but wish he were coming back

Maybe a dumb question, but I honestly don't know. Is there any sort of benefit to having a lot of Twitter followers?

The more Twitter followers you have, the more clicks you get on your articles. The more clicks, the more money and so on.

With Wiltjer announcing he's not transferring looks like some people need to get new "sources".

Why? Just because he's staying at Kentucky doesn't mean those sources were incorrect.

Yes it does. When someone says "Wiltjer is transfering to Gonzaga" and then he stays at Kentucky, that absolutely means they were wrong. He was never leaving. Bad source.

They never said "he's transferring to Gonzaga"; they said there "was interest there" and there was.

^Right from Gonzaga. Which means nothing unless Wiltjer was also interested, and he obviously wasn't.

There were a ton of people on Twitter and elsewhere saying things like "Sources: Wiltjer expected to transfer to Gonzaga". People need new sources.

There was interest from Gonzaga or from Wiltjer? Wiltjer's statement made it seem to me that he never considered leaving.

Agreed. Just because Gonzaga MIGHT have been interested doesn't mean they have to jump the gun and say Wiltjer is transferring.

Also seems like that would have to be some sort of NCAA violation if Gonzaga was showing interest in Wiltjer.

I do believe it is a violation to tamper with kids during the season like that.

Why would he admit that he considered leaving if he was staying? Would be a poor PR move. Not saying he was or wasn't, but his statement shouldn't be taken as a true admission that he never thought about leaving.

Are you saying schools have the right to talk to other school's scholarship players in between seasons?
