I got a text last night saying that Jim Hicks at Grant Co. was getting the job. This came from a Walton parent.

 

Everytime there is a job open, his name comes up. Last year he was going somewhere else too. Does he start these rumors?

I thought the Cov Cath roster was full of current (soon to be former) SK kids. Is there room to squeeze in the WV kids too?

What? Jim Bob, Jake, and John Boy going to NCC? Those 3 Waltons aren't going to NCC. If they do the Khsaa will launch an investigation to make sure the parent went from paying nothing to paying the $18,000 a year to NCC for 3 kids to go there. Is NCC giving scholarships for transfers now? I doubt that happens. That's a lot of money to pay for that All A title.

We heard rumors of Hicks leaving last year and that didn't happen. I know he hasn't stayed anyway for any length of time but why would he even consider leaving Grant with basically the entire team returning and being possibly the 8th Region favorite? Also, I don't think he would fit in real well with the Walton followers.

So have the Moeves boys left Walton yet for the hill?

Heard that HIcks is staying at GC. Heard this from someone within the organization of coach's at GC.

Agree with Madman. Why would he leave with every horse in the stable back.
