The Newdaybell GreenTigerCats returned the opening kickoff to the Highlands 40 yard line and scored 4 plays later on a 7 yard run on their way to dominating the Bluebirds 42-14 at Newport Stadium Friday night. The GreenTigerCats improve to 9-0 on the season with only a non-district game left against 1A Newport Central Catholic before heading into the playoffs as the the #1 seed in the 4A district with home field throughout the playoffs.

 

This just in......The Breds in convincing fashion put a "running clock" on the GreenTigerCats 69-12, just like in the days of old when they were Newport, Bellevue, & Dayton. :banana:

With the new field in my idea you could turn the practice field into a nice softball field.

They still own the land 100 year lease to someone.

NCC could go to TM if needed but they have a great relation ship with Newport.
