This is Obama's sequester so he will have to deal with the problems. By the end of it he will have blood on his hands. He had plenty of time to get this country going in the right direction and has failed. So this is what we get. He still wants to put more people on the government dole than get them off. Federal regulations on just about everything is handcuffing businesses and citizens. He has weakened our national security with his immigration and foreign policies. All he has to do is cut 2.3% from federal spending. In the business world this would be a dream. He will not win in the long run. How about the 52 million people that voted for him pay for his racking up of the national debt.

Yes there is a scrimmage at Simon Kenton. Started about at 2:00 and it is just varsity. Next week is a trip to Lawerence County to play 3.

I talked to my insurance agent about the practice of these roofers. They are committing insurance fraud on the backs of us. My rates went up and I have never used my homeowners insurance...."knock on wood". He told me its because of the recent storms in the area and I politely disagreed with him. I have been told personally by a roofer how to get a new roof paid for by the insurance company. Its total fraud.

That argument holds no water when the 8th grader is allowed to try out. If thats a pet peeve then this discussion is over because you will never understand. No coach in their right mind will take a average freshman over a superb 8th grader.

CovCath doesn't have a middle school right next door like other schools do. Highlands developed freshman teams to allow middle school kids to play baseball and softball. There are middle school kids that do Cross Country and Track. HHS wants to develope athletes and allow them to compete for positions. The argument about high school kids shouldn't be cut to make room for a middle school kid is crazy. If that middle school kid is superb then he/she is going to play over that high school kid. We just have that luxury here in Ft. Thomas. Last year a Freshman started varsity baseball at shortstop. Should he have just played Freshman because he was a freshman. Highlands is also a middle school not just a high school!

71 kids going to try out. Only grades allowed to try out are 8th-12th. With an overwhelming amount of kids I wonder if Coach B will increase roster size for each team by adding a couple of more. They had 15 players per team last year, might be 17-18 players this season.

Baseball team not going to Myrtle Beach now...

That is huge. No excuses why they don't compete this year for a regional championship or a state championship. Coach Baioni has a buffet to choose from this year. No pun intended on the buffet....

That is what I thought before. So what would be his motive to go to the school and kill more people and what was his brothers connection to all this. Also the girlfriend is missing. To many moving pieces to this plot.

Heck, lets put armed vets in the schools and they can be the school resource officers. This can solve some unemployment issues and put peace of mind in the safety of the schools. If it costs the school districts more money then I am sure the citizens won't have a problem in sharing the cost.

Its not stopping the psychos. I guess I will take my chances. I would least want a fighting chance. The police can't be everywhere and the conceal carry holders need to have exceptions. These people are law abidding and have the will to protect themselves and the people around them.

Cowardly act by this homegrown terrorist. I am trying to wrap my head around what goes on in these people lives to commit these terrorist acts. Its scary that these people act alone or with one other person. How many of these people are out there? Time for me to get my conceal carry permit.

My wife and I have the same thoughts about having another child. We have 4 year old now and I worry about her safety every minute of the day when I am not with her.

To many sick and disturbed people. Now we need to worry about this type of terrorism.
