How did Duke only beat this team by 7? Maybe Duke isn't that good.

UK had confidence & wasn't quite the collection of head cases that they presently are. Duke would smash the Cats right now. Just watch what happens when we play the Gators.

They aren't. They will lose tomorrow night.

You could build a skyscraper in front of the rim and Archie Goodwin would recklessly drive into it and bounce the ball off a window.

There was one play where Poythress got the ball under the basket on a nice feed, defender pinned behind him and he didn't even look to score. He immediately kicked the ball out. That defines him for me. The anti-Chuck Hayes. He will not work for anything and just wants to take the easy stuff that falls his way.

This is true. UK was better when they didn't know they were mediocre and thought they were good and going to be good. Now they have no confidence and after tonight they will know they have no fan support so they are done.

They might lose tomorrow, but they're among the best in the country.

Yep.

Kentucky didn't do themselves any favors, but Bama must have had some extra money in the football referee fund from this season for the officials tonight. I don't mind watching UK lose but those calls down the stretch were absolutely pitiful.

Other than the 2 terrible out of bounds on UK calls, I didn't really have any problem with the officiating. They did allow a lot of physical play, but they called it both ways. The Cats just don't handle it real well.

Three missed calls down the stretch - ball out of bounds off two Bama players, Noel goaltending, missed free throw rebound called out on Noel.

Not without Kelly.

Jacobs responded well after a bad start...Bama shot just 37% from the field and 15% from 3 pt range and still gets the win, I'll take it! Roll Tide!

Drew Franklin @DrewFranklinKSR

I trust Archie Goodwin with the basketball as much as I trust Manti Te'o with my eHarmony account.

Good call. He was tough on the boards, since no one from UK was coming over to help when Nerlens was blocking or altering shots.

Not without Kelly.

That's right. I forgot about him being hurt. What is his status?

Truth RT @wildcatnews: Bad, bad loss tonight f at hands of Bama. Barring a split with Fla & wins over Ole Miss or Mizzou, UK headed to NIT.
