Is attending a Super Bowl on your bucket list??

Featured Replies

Just got the news from the Packers that if they go to NOLA, my account has won the option for two seats in the Superdome. It is $1710 due next week. They won't cash my check unless/until the Packers win their game on 1/20 (assuming they beat SanFran this week, of course). I see seats on Stub Hub already for $2500 each. So, factoring in hotel, flight or drive and food, I think I'm looking at $3000 minimum....I am tempted to sell them and watch the game on my new big screen TV. But the Super Bowl is on my bucket list....decisions, decisions.......

Only if the Bengals are playing in it.

Not on mine. I think I would rather be in the city it is in than necessarily be at the game.

Not really. Certainly if I started making an actual list, there'd be an awful lot of things ahead of it.

NFL wise I'd rather attend a conference championship. The SB is too corporate.

A conference championship if your team is at home would be great.

Heck if I had the money a Super Bowl would be great. I don't ever see myself being able to afford it though.

Only if the Bucs are in it.

Personally, I'd rather go to a Final Four.

I'd choose one Final Four over ten Super Bowls.

Bingo.

....for example...a "like" from Clyde.

Went in 1997. Minnesota, NC, Arizona and UK. Arizona beat UK in the final. It was a great time.

Have attended two and liked (believe it or not) the Super Bowl in Pontiac, Mich over the game in Miami, Fla!

Been to many WS games and while I love baseball, they are no where near as much fun as the super bowl.

Would love to attend a NCAA final four and have attended a NCAA sweet sixteen round but it would depend upon where I would be sitting as would hate to watch from a nose bleed seat to see the final four game!

Not on my bucket list. Just not a fan of attending any big sporting event live.

Missed the Pack over Patriots in NOLA in 96 because first son was due any day and really want to go now, but the expense is hard to justify. I think I'm gonna buy then sell the tickets. Don't think I'll have the 30 year drought between Super Bowls again for Green Bay. Winning their ticket lottery again is another matter.

I have been to WS games and one NCAA Sweet Sixteen game. Been to play-offs at Lambeau. Been to the Olympics (Winter). Been to the Rose Bowl. This is a biggie for me to miss. But that new TV in my new La-Z-Boy will make it a little easier to take.
