Felts played but did not score. Holy cross dominated this game from start to finish leading by as many as 22 pts in 2nd half.

 

Campbell was terrific tonight with dominating the paint. I thought Burt Pouncy and Travis Gabbard were big as well with Gabbard finally getting hot from 3. The McClendons a solid all around effort as well.

 

Holy Cross travels to Harrison County Friday night to take on a team Scott beat by 4 earlier this month.

Impressive night for Mr Campbell congrats Indians.

Their seems to be 3 schools that Scott just can never beat. Holmes, Holy Cross and GRC.

Wasn't expecting this outcome but congrats to HC. Campbell had a great game!

Tough to beat Holy Cross in their gym when they're shooting the three well.

I expected Campbell to break out but he was ridiculous last night. I think Scott is a better team than they showed last night. Everything was clicking for the Cross last night.

Tony will be in the hunt for POY and if HC can play that well the rest of the year they will turn some heads.

Pretty cool moment in the 3rd quarter..... HC students section, who were already wired the whole game standing and going back and forth with the Scott section, completely came unglued when Campbell took an alley oop pass from Tiberi off an inbounds play and stuffed it home over a Scott defender. And while it wasn't a packed house at The Finn Center last night the student section was great supporting the Indians.

 

I agree with Omega Man that Scott is a much better team then they showed last night, HC just jumped on them early with their pressure/press and Scott guards didn't handle it very well and it led to many easy baskets early. After that they finally started getting down some shots behind the arc. I'm probably stating the obvious but this years team is completely different when Gabbard and Tiberi can knock down open shots as this will open up the inside game for Campbell that much more.
