6A Championship - Trinity 61 Pleasure Ridge Park 7

Trinity spoils PRP's perfect season in a big way, winning state championship number 22. Congratulations to the players and coaches.

Did PRP even look decent?

How many fans at game for Trinity?

Yawn are the rings coming Monday? Good season T.

Congratulations to the Rocks.

Congrats to Trinity. On a related note, Trinity's sole loss this year, Moeller, just won the Ohio Division I state title.

Trinity had a nice crowd. I think the PRP section was even bigger (student section for sure) and they were loud. As to the game... I guess anyone who studued the racing form saw this coming. PRP was shell shocked at the T speed. None of the plays that scored big against the Fern Creeks and Butlers were going to work tonight. As if PRP needed more to worry about, turnovers killed them. Sumpter the Panther QB played with heart. He was under duress all night. Jabari Jordan was game MVP. He and the defense were dominate. Judging from tonight if they play 10 times, T wins 10. It was great to see #17 out there. I think he became the first player ever in the KHSAA to score a TD in the finals every year in school! Anxious to see the stats.. for now... sleep.

Yes, PRP looked decent and had some success moving the ball against Trinity but they are a long way off from competing with Trinity.

Trinity had a poor crowd and as Xgrad said PRP's crowd rocked the house.

Congrats to the Rocks. Also to PRP on their season. It was a game for about the first couple of series.

got alittle chippy after a while. Ejection on a PRP kid - after he had already comitted several PF's.

Godo for James as well. He led them out on the field.

Great job by all and great season.

I would not say Trinity had a "poor" crowd. They were just less painted up and enthusiastic about making first downs.

After seeing the stats it was a dominating night for the T defense. PRP busted a long run late vs. the subs which accounted for about half of the 100ish rushing yards. For all practical purposes there was no PRP running game. Total passing yards under 150. I'm trying to recall how many RED ZONE trips PRP had... one for sure, was there more?

Jim, I think the "chippiness" was a direct result of the shock and frustrsation the PRP side had. Interesting that T had twice as many penalty yards (80) though. A huge chunk of that was touchdowns being called back. Glad nobody was hurt.

I would like to throw this question out. I'd say PRP was the third best team T faced in the playoffs... comments?

Congrats to the Trinity class of 2013 football players. That was one of the best runs that will be seen in the state of KY in a long time!

Best of luck in the future on and off the field. You have represented your school well!

This group of seniors was really special. Congrats and good luck in the future. I had a blast in Bowling Green last night. "GO ROCKS"

Congrats to our Rocks for bringing home #22. To much fire power for PRP to overcome. I think the chippiness of the PRP players was a direct result of frustration from NOT being able to move the ball without a broken play or penalty. Lots of cheap shots by the Ridge all game long. It all started with the first incomplete pass to James Quick. Bad mistake. PRP's crowd and student section was awesome. Great support and great pride for there community. The true difference in this game was Trinity's team speed, discipline and coaching. Good luck to the Panthers moving forward. For the ROCKS, next year will be very exciting! Lots of talent coming upk! RELOAD! Also, it was great spending time with “The Guru” on the sidelines!!!

I am sure you are correct about PRP's conduct and behavior. Still no excuse. Borderlne "thuggish." Maybe they should not have "danced out" and did that "finger pointing thing." Just sayin'.

Regardless - the "real Trinity" showed up to play. And I agree with the Statement that was the 3rd best PO team T faced.
