Why in the world have you been in so many altercations?

Come on, RE. You're telling me you're shocked that UKfan had to defend himself from things that came out of his mouth?

Let's say for grins and giggles that Mr Richmond supplied the alcohol. (For the record I am not saying that is true).

Now what?

I already answered that hypothetical in a previous post. Are you implying that BW has no obligation to hold one of its parents accountable? What if this is not an isolated incidence but a repeated pattern of behavior?

One point seems clear and obvious relative to this incident as well as another thread regarding 'stealing from a teammate'; the new normal is very different for organizations, schools, etc in this "Post-Paterno" era. Any coach, leader or administrator that remotely attempts to bury or minimize any moderate transgression will be villified. While I agree with the way this has been handled by Coach Rash and BW, I will stop short of praising them. What other options did they have?

What does the election have to do with it?

Because the parent in question is an elected official and an attorney.

Have you read his posts?

City Admin is not an elected office.

Ok, I stand corrected.

I have been over 100 fights and never been in jail just saying...

This can only mean a couple things....

a) You have some severe anger management issues.

b) You go around looking for fights.

or

c) You don't know when to keep quiet.

 I'm going with a combination of all three.

There are only two reasons why this is even a story. 1) Social media, and 2) it happened during football season.

I am always amazed how stupid people are who take photos and post them on social media doing either things they shouldn't be doing or stupid things, even adults do it.

If this happened lets say in 5 or 6 weeks, we don't hear about it either as the season is over.

He needs to go find Dave and hang with him..... :sssh:

I can agree to this if you can agree that it is not acceptable to wait until after football season and the election are completed for the truth regarding who supplied the alcohol is revealed. Once both the election and football season are over, there is no more leverage for the truth to be told!

A high school and their football program doesn't have any real authority to investigate any alleged adults providing alcohol to minors in the first place...

That doesn't make the irresponsible decision of the adults any more correct.

I never mentioned that it was, just stating how and why it's "news".

In a round a bout way you are saying if kids are drinking doing drugs, hey even rape someone. Its all good as long as the cops are not called. Got ya' Thats some great parenting. Im done with this thread. I guess kids these days can do anything they want and never have to pay the price these days. What a joke. Also the whole idea of, dont act like you didnt do it" is a sorry excuse. We had slavery in this country is that still cool? "Hey dont act like some of our family didnt do it" so its still good to go now. This thread and lack of adults wanting to act like real adults makes me sick.

This may be one of the most ignorant posts in this entire thread. You do not know what you are talking about and your hypothetical example is wrong.

Many of these kids did nothing Criminally wrong, they simply broke team rules by being at the party. Hopefully you realize that since the police were not involved with the inviduals. It's simple, TEAM RULES dictate the punishment. 1st offense suspension, 2nd Offesne kicked off the team. If next year Coach Rash decided to changes the rules/contract then that so be it. Can't change the contract after its signed.

Zm

For the other bonehead that talked about Expulsion... This is not a School Matter. Wasn't on school property or at a school event so the school has no say in punishment as they didn't.

I think it's news due to the number of players involved. Had it been 1-2 players, it would not be a story.
