November 2, 201213 yr You're correct. Also told that two off duty cops were parked in front of the house.. I'm just the messenger. But the kid is a close family friend and I'm confident he wasn't lying... That being said again, I don't have video you're right. Oh, I'm not saying he is. I'm just saying there's really nothing that can be concluded from it (in terms of investigations) without evidence. Otherwise it's simply hearsay.
November 2, 201213 yr Oh, I'm not saying he is. I'm just saying there's really nothing that can be concluded from it (in terms of investigations) without evidence. Otherwise it's simply hearsay. This whole thread is "hearsay"
November 2, 201213 yr Here's the deal....anybody that would say they had no clue alcohol was being consumed when there were 40-80 kids in one setting is a MO-RON. They are burying their head in the sand and in Richmond's case I am guessing he stayed in the confines of his warm and cozy home watching the Irish and sucking down a cold pop of his own. Just speculating because that is what I do when I watch college football....anyway I digress. If you are going to have a party this large and supply alcohol to minors atleast take it out to a farm or something and not on the same street as the school. :ohbrother:
November 2, 201213 yr I already answered that hypothetical in a previous post. Are you implying that BW has no obligation to hold one of its parents accountable? What if this is not an isolated incidence but a repeated pattern of behavior? The law should hold any adult accountable. Why though would that lead to forfeiting the game as you suggested?
November 2, 201213 yr The law should hold any adult accountable. Why though would that lead to forfeiting the game as you suggested? I have the same question, why penalize the entire team and school for something that happened outside of school. Rash and the administration have done an adequate job reprimanding the kids on the team IMO. Someone needs to now go after the adults involved.

November 2, 201213 yr Post 272. Can't do it without proof. Or are you one of those guilty until proven innocent guys?
November 2, 201213 yr I have been over 100 fights and never been in jail just saying... Why in the world have you been in so many altercations? After reading his posts on BGP these past few months, is this really that surprising?
November 2, 201213 yr I believe this allegation puts the ball squarely on the BW administration : "I just talked to a young man who doesn't attend Beechwood but was at the party for 45 minutes and was not drinking.. He said that there was "80 kids" there. He said that parents were "outside drinking with the kids" He didn't not know where the alcohol came from, but said it was being stored in a shed. He also said that the kids were running around ON Beechwood's property and drinking on the campus. For parking they used a Beechwood lot. Again the young man didnt attend Beechwood and left because he felt uncomfortable with the situation." Sorry BW supporters. You either have football or you have integrity. You are going to have to choose! Yes, because I'm certain Mr. Edmonson will be very successful in court with this BGP Thread as evidence. You are absolutely ridiculous in your views about how the Legal process does/should work. You just don't get it. This is a legal matter that has nothing to do with the school or Beechwood Football at this point. There's no choice to be made. Get the burr out of your behind about Beechwood and go cheer on your team. Edited November 3, 201213 yr by PurplePride92 Rule 8
November 2, 201213 yr By the way, has anyone heard if there are any football games being played tonight?

If you read this thread carefully, with unbiased eyes, you will note several accounts of alcohol consumption on or near school property. If verified, then that places responsibility for investigation on the school. Edited November 3, 201213 yr by PurplePride92 Rule 14

If verified, then that places responsibility for investigation on the school. Can't do anything without proof. Why can you not comprehend that basic concept? Additionally, the "near school property" has zero bearing. BW has no authority over anything that occurs a foot off their grounds.

BW has no authority over anything that occurs a foot off their grounds. I'm not talking about proof. I'm talking about burden and responsibility to investigate. If there is an allegation of alcohol consumption on school property, then the school is empowered to investigate. Doesn't this Richmond fellow live close to campus?
