Terrible offensive game plan by Gruden. Never tried the deep ball. Every pass seemed to be out in less than two seconds. #58 is big bust and if #55 can keep working hard and stay clean in the off season he will be a stud as he plays with emotion and heart. I hope he doesn't get satisfied after not getting drafted and getting a second chance.

Gruden was out coached last night by a lot. It's going to happen occasionally against Lebeau, but last night was brutal.

 

At least Marvin will be gone after this year. Oh wait, he just signed an extension.

I will be curious to hear Marvin's non-answer today when asked what Pittsburgh did to take away the deep ball.

Lets face it folks, as long as the Browns own the team (and they aren't going anywhere) and Marvin Lewis is the Head Coach the best we will ever be able to hope for is a mediocre team that once every 8 to 10 years might slip into the playoffs. I resigned myself to this fact several years ago and it allows me to not be disappointed week in and week out. Last night the offense stunk and the coaching was even worse. Go Bengals!

At least we have AJ Green, he's exciting to watch...but that's about it.

It was 80/20 this year. Less than most. Overblown or not.

Steelers looked like poop against the run and then for whatever reason, the next series for Cincy didn't include one. Ben throws a pick in the endzone and sack fumble in the opposite redzone or it could have been worse. OR, if Mike Wallace could catch a pass it could have been worse. Ray M is a sorry ILB in this league. I thought that the Bengals could have easily changed the complexion of the game had they stuck to the ground a bit more. Steelers defensive left and Ziggy Hood are poopy.

I have to agree with some comments on here. Marvin Lewis has to go. The game is way to big for him at this stage of his coaching career. The decision to challenge a 2-yard gain, but have to really think twice about a questionable catch late in the game. That was not a catch by the way either. Rey Rey does need to find a seat on the same bus as Marvin that is leaving town. Just not a good NFL football player. Not sure who is to blame, but the inability game after game to make adjustments is the reason this team has not sustained success. Maybe they need to make Zimmer the coach because he at least has some fire in his belly and will not hesitate to get in a guys grill. Burfict definitely arrived last night, just hope he does not become Odell.

Bengals were down to 2 RBs last night? Sanu got a carry. Why would they have not added another RB when Scott went down? I did gat a kick out of the series where Green Ellis got them in scoring range and came out (gassed). Dalton's looking around in the backfield, for a back, knowing they had a running play called. In runs #30, Dalton, not looking to sure about it, goes ahead and runs the play. 30, thanking god they didn't call timeout, makes good use of the opportunity blasts it into the endzone. I just thought it was entertaining series of events.

After the game, all I could think about was Marvin. Sure the o-line looked soft and we couldn't stop anything on 3rd down, but during a very winnable game I felt like the Bengals were hopeless. That has to fall on the coaching staff. Marvin's time has to be up soon.

When your two best offensive players look like they'd rather be sleeping than playing in a prime-time football game, you've got major issues. This team is a train-wreck.
