The Breds could have put up 70 if they wanted the outcome had nothing to do with refs. HC just doesnt have the talent this year, like last season. It happens, work hard rebuild and get better.

I think the dropped passes early in the game really hurt HC.

It is looking like a tough run coming up for Holy Cross. I don't see much coming up in the underclass ranks.

And give beal the td that he was "supposedly'' down at the 2 and it's 21-10 ncc at the half that makes this game completely different than the 35-3 that it was. Ncc never really drove the ball on in Indians in the first half they actually had a couple 3 and outs ifs I remember correctly. Yes hc didn't move the ball on offense very well and losing beal in the 2nd qtr didn't exactly help. As I said before ncc still won the game regardless and I hope that they are already looking past hc in the playoffs because if hc does get there for a rematch I think that they have the '' potential'' to give the breds all they can handle.

Delusional. If Doc Brown and Marty Mcfly could show up in the Dolorian, you could give them a note to give the officials to look extra close at the punt returns at the HC long run HC would have only lost by 3 TDs. Really? HC couldn't punch it in on 4 tries from the 3 yd line. If I were HC fan I would probably concentrate on things like that.

Before both these td's became a foot race, Hayes and Myers escaped quite a few HC defenders before your so-called block in the backs. Sorry not buying what your selling.

 

I will say Burt Pouncy had a tough game, dropped a few nice passes from Trail and then had to go to the sideline and get "more than an earful" from Coach Koz. Lord have mercy, you could of heard him scream at that poor boy from all the way across the field and at the top of the bleachers. :ohbrother:

what a joke, lets be clear, this isnt 12-6 holmes (refs blew that game for NCC)...this was 49-10 and couldve been 70-3 if coach eviston doesnt take the 1st team out early in the third. You HC fans are delusional if you think this game should have been closer. I do believe there was a close call on one punt return, but this is NCC we are talking about, they get zero calls to go there way. this game was never close, even when it was 0-0, HC had no chance.

There is a reason why NewCath plays uper level football during non district games, they have a very good team and should go far in the playoff's this year. Best 5 - 4 team I have seened in a long time. JD

Congrats to the Breds last night. They dominated in every phase of the game. HC struggled most with what they have been struggling with all season which is stopping the run and tackling. They "could" have stayed in the game early (and possibly gained more confidence) but dropped a few passes from Trail that would have sustained drives and kept the NCC offense off the field. The RB for NCC was very impressive and is a heck of a player IMO. NCC is clearly the team to beat going into the 2A playoffs.

 

CGG12/Lawnboy/NKY Footballfan - Not all HC fans are dullusional. Don't hold the comments of a few against all of us. LOL.....Everyone knows I am a HC fan, but a realistic one. If these 2 teams play again, and that is a big if, from what I saw last night, the outcome will be the same. I do agree with NKYFootball fan that Coach Eviston was very classy in taking out his starters early in the 3rd quarter or else they could have scored 70+.

I sat next to some parents of some senior players from Holy cross and lets just say they were less than happy with coach Koz....they kept yelling, "coach our defense sucks!!" I thought the game would be much closer than it was!! Congrats Breds!!!

Congratulations to NCC on a very nice win. They won every aspect of this game. Better team, better game plan, great defensive stops when needed. No need to blame the refs. NCC was just a much better team last night.
