April 1, 201313 yr Right, I was more speaking to the main attack, but you are correct. ^Gotcha I cant see them stretching out the Governors role with no one to rule over either. Makes me think that he won't make it to episode 3 of next season. But I am not sure what direction they will go in after sitting an thinking about it now.
April 1, 201313 yr Author Kinda disappointed there was basically no prison fight. Same here. Wasn't as action packed as I thought it would be. I am glad that Andrea is gone. I thought we'd lose a few more main characters. Totally agree. :thumb: Yeah. Not sure about the way Carl is heading. Complete opposite of comics. Do not like it. I think Carl went through a really dark season during the comics. I kind of like what they're doing with him. He essentially has the same worldview right now as The Governor (i.e. kill or be killed). I was cool with the episode. Interesting gov did not go back to Woodbury. There is no bad guy developed yet if the Gov goes away. I was also cool with it. Not great, but not poor either. Killing Andrea makes it worthwhile, but the most interesting off-season topic of discussion will be where on earth The Governor and his understandably reluctant partners went. Thought bringing the Woodbury people to the prison was a really nice touch. Good to see Rick, Daryl, Tyreese & Michonne all under the same roof & thinking along the same lines. I do have to agree with DF on the slowness of the second half of Season 3. The last 2-3 episodes were pretty strong IMO, but there were some clunkers too.
April 1, 201313 yr I completely agree with the slowness with the second half of the season. I think they did too much to quick to make up for the clunker that was season 2. By doing so they couldn't meet the expectations they set for themselves.
April 1, 201313 yr Which made me laugh because did any one else notice how after the gunshot there was a bullet casing bouncing..... I mean come on that so minor but they added something they didn't need to that screwed it up. I thought it was the gun falling to the floor.

Her saying she knows about the safety is a reference to season 1 when she first meets Rick.
April 1, 201313 yr Coming next season....for the first time since this tragedy began, walkers start having sex. Thanks Andrea :thumb:
April 1, 201313 yr I heard it too. Her saying she knows about the safety is a reference to season 1 when she first meets Rick. Ya I remembered the second part, but I was rather disappointed that they screwed up something that small. C'mon guys.
April 1, 201313 yr Ya I remembered the second part, but I was rather disappointed that they screwed up something that small. C'mon guys. I watched it again...maybe it was her hand hitting the ground with the Gun in it. That wouldn't be as loud as the gun falling. But I initially thought that too. Sounded like a shell casing for sure.
April 1, 201313 yr I thought it was an awesome show last night. Liked how the woman saved herself by hiding under the body. Tyreese was lucky that Gov did not make him go fight or kill him when he said he could not kill people. Did not like to see Milton die, but thought that whole part with Milton and Andrea was pretty cool. Liked how at the end, Rick looked up and did not see Lori. Her way of showing that she approved of his leadership decisions for the group.

April 1, 201313 yr I will say this...I find it funny how good everyone is at shooting walkers...I mean they could shoot one blindfolded, one arm tied behind their back, from a mile away but they can't shoot a human 5 feet away.....:ohbrother: :lol2:

Sounded like a shell casing for sure. I thought the same and even played it back. It sounded like a shell casing indeed. Compared to last seasons finale this was pretty tame. Definitely going to be interesting moving forward though.
April 1, 201313 yr My wife made an interesting comment...At the end of season 2 we were left with a shot of the prison in the background which gave strong indication of what was to come but season 3 seemed to have ended on a happier note instead of a little mystery or intrigue... It would have been nice to catch a shadowy glimpse of The Governor in the woods watching the prison as the final scene....That would have made up for a lot IMO.
