March 25, 201313 yr Possible that Merle returns for the next Season in "vision" or "dream" form. Great episode last night. I thought Daryl showing emotion of that variety was some of the best television we've seen out of this series. Greg Nicotero directed this, as well as the episode when Dale was killed--also one of the stronger installments of the series. On Talking Dead last night they showed a preview of next week's episode that showed The Governor & his men had breached the prison walls & one guy was literally opening a door to get inside the prison when the scene was cut off. There didn't seem to be any of the prison group on the outside of the building itself to defend it, so it's possible they have abandoned it altogether & we may not see the huge battle we've been anticipating. Next week's Talking Dead might be as intriguing as the finale itself, with the characters playing Daryl & Tyreese being guests. To that here are my thoughts. Yeah Merle could come back in "vision" form. If they have left the prison and there is no battle then it'll suck, plain and simple. I don't see it as that intriguing with Daryl and Tyreese being guests because any character that has died they did not say their name as being guests on the show, they would just refer to them as "special guest". Same as Maggie earlier in the season when she was on the show, and Glen too I believe.

I thought it was intriguing because it brings in Rick's right-hand-man from the comics (Tyreese) & his right-hand-man from the show (Daryl).
March 25, 201313 yr Great episode last night. Looks like they lied to you. Well Norman was the one who told me about the on location in ga and how he hates his long hair. Etc. Filming resumes may thru dec. at least for him. Rooker talked about his video game. As for next week. The battle will be Woodbury vs a load of walkers rick and company left behind that door before they fled.

March 25, 201313 yr Author I was doing some reading last night & came across an interview where Andrew Lincoln (Rick) states that 27 people will die in the Season 3 finale. Andrew Lincoln confirms that 27 characters will die in Season 3 finale | Walking The Walking Dead
March 25, 201313 yr Zombie marathon coming up later this week in which AMC will replay the whole series leading up to the season finale.
March 25, 201313 yr Author As for next week. The battle will be Woodbury vs a load of walkers rick and company left behind that door before they fled. Now that would be interesting. :thumb:

Andrew Lincoln confirms that 27 characters will die in Season 3 finale | Walking The Walking Dead Holy crap...I'm assuming that is not walkers either. A lot of extras from woodbury and a couple of key players I'd assume.

Yeah, I think it's probably walkers behind the door but I don't think the prison group exactly fled away from the fight.
March 25, 201313 yr Author Holy crap...I'm assuming that is not walkers either. A lot of extras from woodbury and a couple of key players I'd assume. Article says The Governor's army from Woodbury consists of 34 people. Not sure if that includes Tyreese & faction. I'm also assuming this doesn't count walkers.
March 25, 201313 yr Author Crazy when the Governor bit Merle's fingers off as well...Gruesome part... Yep. The two actors were talking about that on TD last night & how it was really disgusting.
March 25, 201313 yr Yep. The two actors were talking about that on TD last night & how it was really disgusting. Yeah I remember that....Talking Dead is a pretty entertaining show...
March 25, 201313 yr The only thing I wish had happened in last night's episode was that it would have ended with Woodbury group entering the prison yard and the last scene would have shown the Governor getting out of the car. I don't want next week to feel rushed at all and I wish it was a 2 hour episode.
March 25, 201313 yr Author Bill Simmons of Grantland kills it in this fresh article, which recaps last night's episode in a way that only Bill Simmons can do. :lol2: It's long, but very entertaining. :lol2: The Walking Dead Gives ’Em What They Want - Hollywood Prospectus Blog - Grantland
