Not being a smartaleck, but am confused. You seemed to state earlier that Conner had no problem with Ryle filming-so I presumed that meant they had a problem with them broadcasting the contest. Perhaps you could shed more light?

Let's be clear. Filming and broadcasting are two completely different animals. Conner had zero issues with Ryle filming the game.

 

Oh Gee! How nice of them. They can't have an issue with it, it's part of the rules. Teams are allowed to film their own games. I think everyone understands that Broadcasting is different from a Team's Game film, but the reality is they don't prevent people from seeing them, simply by keeping them from being Broadcast.

I guess Conner perceives that broadcasting games impacts gate attendance? That's sad. My kid's grandparents are of sufficient age that they cannot make it to games any more. I wish our program broadcasted his games.

Where was the game played at? If it was at Ryle they have broadcasted their games there all year. They should be able to broadcast whatever it is they want, it's their home stadium. Why is it only a problem with one school, and how can they tell them to stop broadcasting? I would have just kept on filming. If the game was at Conner I can see this being a different story. Well, since Conner broadcasts as well then that settles that. I wonder if Ryle was told pregame that they were not going to be allowed to broadcast? Wouldn't this be addressed before the beginning of the game?

So poor ole grandpa/grandma who can't get out to see little grandson Johnny play on Friday night , cant watch it on iHigh because Conner is afraid of what other schools will see? Cmon Man!!!!!

You can not scout opponent's game by filming in High School. However, in the NKYFL league you can scout by filming opponent's games which I totally disagree. Several coache's do exchange film and alot of games are on Hudl. JD
