Conner films from atop the pressbox. Not sure about the Cooper game HB, but I know that the Conner coaches were put outside at the game last year at Cooper. The Conner coaches could not even hear over their headsets due to the stadium address speakers being so close to them. This was NOT the film crew, but the coaching staff. Talk about bush league. I have also been informed that Conner coaches were put outside at Ryle also due to "space issues". Only difference is that a thread was not started about these issues on BGP.

Like I said earlier, I was just curious is all. I didn't know where they filmed and was simply asking. I was curious due to weather is why I asked. Was curious if during the rain the video camera's were outside or inside.

 

I do know as far as Cooper as back as 2 years ago Cooper filmed from the roof at their stadium, my wife did the video for the freshman team back then. Haven't paid attention to how they do it this year.

I see where people are posting the KHSAA rules regarding filming at games. Just to clarify, the broadcast that was pulled was not the Ryle team film, but the iHigh crew there to broadcast the game. Therefore if Conner didn't want video broadcast online, so be it. However, I agree with Ru, the Ryle broadcasting crew should have been notified prior to the middle of the 1st quarter. Coaches are very particular when it comes to having their films out for everyone to see. That's their right, although coaches all throughout the state trade film of teams without permission.

 

Why do coaches have urinating contests about the use of the pressbox, etc.? I'll never understand it.

I agree. Connor appears to be NKY's version of the NE Patriots. Whats next, stealing signals from the opposing coaches. We need to get over it and focus on football. They are a tough team and we need to focus on what's going on on the field instead of around the field.

There's no way that rule could be enforced. Very few facilities beyond the bigger and newer schools have facilities that would accomodate both teams. So its impossible for it to be truly equal.

 

2 video camera's, 1 for each team, does not take up a lot of room. To say a press box can fit 1 but not 2 is kind of silly. Just sayin.

 

I think the whole thing is silly. It's not like anything could really be gained from broadcasting it. It's not like it's of national security, it's a high school football game lol. I personally think it's more paranoia than anything. But I do find it entertaining to see what team is being accused of not playing fair after the convo's the last couple weeks of that same team pointing the finger at other teams for wrong doing lol Maybe Hebron is filled with conspiracy theorists haha. Just kidding. I know it's just a couple of the teams fans, but you have to admit it is getting kind of funny.
