I understand were your coming from Nick but I'll say that the TRUE Cardinal fans he was not throwing a shot at. We all appreciate the fans that come religiously but WE as a staff especially our HC wants to take this place to places it's never been but in order for that to happen you need the atmosphere and support of big time college football every week- no matter the opponent or our team record. Support the players the way they deserve its not about the coaches. It's the players that pour everything into it. Lol Dan I promise this is me! No fake Teddy Bridgewater accounts and so forth. Your totally right I've no clue how far this place has come but I like to see what MORE we can become. I personally think Louisville is not a stepping stone job. I believe this place is something you build into what Virginia Tech and Oregon have become- year in and out powerhouses. I love the passion of the fans and I've received some awesome inbox messages but people have to relax. I know past coaches have done shady things in the past but I believe in Strong and feel that everyone else should too.

All the UL coach posts are nice, but I believe the last press conference is paving the way for a decision that has already been made, and that is that Coach Strong has (secretly :sssh: ) accepted a position elsewhere. But only time will tell...

I don't know what he is doing at this point. The best news Cards fans can hear is the UT job is filled. I feel bad for the 6 or so Card die hards o here, chuck keeps saying he's disappointed in the fan base as a driver to leave. There are some good ones on here, if he stays you all will have to reshape the fan base.

@Drew_Deener: Per Sources at both schools: Charlie's interview with UT was in Indy. He was AD Dave Hart's top choice going in...he needed to impress the UT Chancellor. Charlie "blew them away" at the interview. Was UT's top choice at that point. As of Monday, UT was convinced they had him...were waiting til Fulmer's HOF induction. UT and UofL both believe he will be their coach next year. Gut feeling: we find out today.
