Wow, I guess I was in a coma and dreamt the year Louisville was a national title contender. I suppose if FSU runs the table, they have no shot, either.

 

Never said Louisville was a national contender just dont think its a better place for Strong. UofL is in a BCS bowl for the second time. So its possible whether they are deserving or not. The ACC is a better conference not a great one. Isnt the BCS going to four team playoff next year? UT hasnt had a winning season since 08 and Kiffen left after one year and now they have fired their coach after 3 seasons. If Charlie dont win there quickly he will be gone to. How many African American head coaches have there been in the SEC? I can think of Two. Both were fired very quickly when they didnt win soon.

You have completely misunderstood me. Louisville was a national title contender in the season that we went to the Orange Bowl.

Mine would contain many and I'm sure some lists would contain none. Why has Petrino not been legitimately been considered for any of the open positions thus far? You know what you get with him... Probably a lot of wins but also a whole lot of baggage. I personally think UL could find a coach who could win without the other stuff.

Looks like he's the front runner for UT. He's as good as gone.
