ESPN is now saying Strong is the #1 candidate for UT. So what exactly is going on with this..

I'd say that goes for anyone, not just a coach. And if you're looking for more money, the best way to do that if you have the leverage is to demonstrate to your employer just how serious you are.

How much better can his deal get? He's paid in the top 10 already. I'd say at some point money isn't going to be the deciding factor. It will be about ego, prestige, facilities, fan base etc...

Right, but that does zero good if everyone knows you're not leaving. If some message board poster (Clyde) knows Charlie isn't leaving, than surely Jurich knows it too, right? No reason to give him anything more if you really believe he isn't leaving.
