BigGreenHorse
The Lady 'Stangs solidified their claim as the top girl's soccer team in the 10th Region by knocking off another opponent Monday night to run their season record to 9-4-1. Bishop Brossart defeated the Lady Camels of Campbell County 2-1 in a shootout at Campbell County. A win over Scott would give the Lady 'Stangs the top seed in the 37th District to be played later at Scott. They continued their recent mastery of Campbell County, who had the second best record in the 10th Region. It made for a "County Championship" of sorts for Coach Brad Gough's team. They now have defeated Highlands 5-0, Newport Central Catholic 2-1 and now Campbell County 2-1. If they defeat Scott they would have to play Calvary to advance to the District finals and a District Championship gets them a first round bye in the 10th region Tourney. :ylsuper:

kings102876
Well played, physical game on both sides. Congrats Brossart! Hopefully we can see a rematch in the district championship.
camelsgohard23
while the camels fought hard, they need to stop relying on playing BOOT BALL, and learn to pass from teammate to teammate. natalie visse is a BEAST, and they have some great ball handlers. they just need to redefine how the game should be played. booting it down the field does nothing but give possession over, and make your girls a lot more tired from running back and forth.
