At face value this looks like a lack of faith in the passing game. Perhaps a running play was the right call.... but 3-8 usually means pass.

Maybe the center snapping the ball over the QBs head has been a problem and that's why the run was called on third down. And everyone knows that if the X QB lines up in the gun with a spread line it means QB draw, not pass.

 

I heard that Moeller had a big lead and took their foot off the gas. Any truth to that?

I think his point is valid. Should be a much better game than many expected between T and X.
