Who is number 2 in KY Football, Highlands or Bowling Green?

Of coarse, this question could only be answered on the field, but I'd like to hear the arguments from both sides.

BG sounds like they would tough to beat..The only thing I will say is this. Every time BG was supposed to be awesome they either got beat in the playoffs or the Birds pounded them in the finals. We will never know considering they are in different classes..Good luck Purples!! I do think you are the best in 5A..:thumb:

I'm not doing this again.

Not every time.

No way to honestly say...HHS seems to always find a wayto exploit whatever the other team is weak at. Bowling Green just plays solid, coming at you football. In 10 games I'd go HHS 6 out of 10 but that is purely a gut feeling nothing to back it up.

FWIW I would be rooting for BG in all 10 games, due to conections to BG.

I think BGreen has steadily improved it's program the last few years. Yes, they laid eggs in a few of the state title games a few years back, but, I think they're better now than they were then as they've stepped up there scheduling and seem to have righted the ship. In there defense, the years they lost those titles, they were beaten by some excellent teams, maybe some of those programs best ever teams, especially in the case of Lex Cath and Cov Cath.

With beating St. X, my edge goes to Bowling Green.

Want us back in 5A again? Doubt it.

(And for the record: HHS is 3-1 against Bowling Green, overall. The scoring differential was 115-54.)

#2 team this year is debatable...Highlands, Bowling Green, St. X

#2 program isn't...it's Highlands.....by a mile

Do you want to be in 5A right now? Doubt it.:walk:
