Beechwood Coaches Parking Passes For Mayfield Home Games

Maybe Beechwood needs a little kryptonite for Jackson...best bet...this season.

Buying some kryptonite might actually be cheaper, not exactly cheap to send scouts weekly to Mayfield.

I can save them some $

If they want be more competitive they are going to have to learn more about the forward pass and I still do not think they have bought into that. Save your $ and watch tapes of the last 2 years as both our O and D are doing the exact same things and finally take Snakes advice and buy some kryptonite. That in a nutshell is all that they will need to do

No way on Frankfort, I know Beechwood hasn't thought much of Frankfort in the past.

Guru I wouldn't pass so easily on Frankfort, they have a great pool of younger players that have done well, I say this is the year Frankfort beats Beechwood, if they get that far.

So is Rash and company obsessed with the Cardinals to the point that Frankfort or someone else can catch them looking?

The reason Beechwood is above several other NKY teams is because they still scout and the preparation for opponent's is unbeleivable. They care and take the time to prepare for every game and yes that would include Frankfort. Each game is important and they take the time each week to prepare. Yes and some teams they put more time and preparation into their opponent. The coaching staff at BW is a great staff to work with. JD

Considering Beechwood has never beat Mayfield, this seems like a small price to pay that will give them an edge come November. They will beat Mayfield soon enough. They are too good of a program not to. However, Im not certain it will be THIS year.

Beechwood has advance scouted Frankfort in the past but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that the road to WKU goes through the Cardinals.

I don't blame Beechwood for focusing on Mayfield. However, I guess it begs the question is the gap between Mayfield and Beechwood close enough that parking some scouts in Mayfield can make up the difference this year?

Maybe not OB but Beechwood would be crazy not to do it.

Does the fact that Beechwood can commit to scouting Mayfield this early in the season indicate a lack of competitive depth in 1A?????

Agreed.

We know there is a lack of depth in 1A, but even if 1A was deep I don't think it would matter.

I'm guessing that Mayfield will be back in 2A before Beechwood cracks that nut. Seems to me that horse would be the food of choice for those semi-final tailgates.

Do you believe that this a reality that exists to a greater or lesser degree in every class? Do you believe this situation is unique to this season?

The gap is very close and yes it will help them out. It is a good idea by Beechwood IMO.
