Glad to see my guy Jerry "Big Grin" Arlinghaus has moved up to 3rd team QB for UL.

One thing people are forgetting about this game is Hurricane Issac will be in Kentucky around Sunday morning so the rain will have an effect. Team who can run the best will win.

I root for UK football and quite frankly I root for everything at UK except the basketball team so yes it is possible to root for one sport at a school and not all of them. I also root for Duke basketball, FSU football and everything at WKU. I'll be rooting for UL basketball when Quentin Snider arrives on campus and if D'angelo Russell goes to UK I'll root for UK basketball.

This game is won in the trenches and UK has a better and bigger DL and OL will run the ball and Smith will throw it well enough to keep the Cards off balance. UK wins 24-21

Can't lie. At this point, I'm starting to worry a little bit. Two weeks ago, I thought this was in the bag.

 

Years of being a Minnesota Vikings fan have convinced me that soul-crushing defeat is around every corner.

 

I don't have a prediction yet, but somewhere in the neighborhood of 7-10 points in favor of Louisville is starting to look good.

UK gets an early lead, but Cards win 34-14.

On paper, this game should be a rather large UL victory. The Cards are the favorite to win their conference whereas UK is expected to finish dead last, possibly without a win in the conference. I expect a closer game though, similar to last year. UK's QB play, as well as the entire offense, should be much better than in last year's game. UK should be able to game plan a little better for the UL QB this year as well.

Voted with my heart and not my head. UK by 3.
