August 30, 201214 yr I think Xavier handled this very poorly. As several have said, they acted way to quickly with out enough evidence etc. Having said that it is my understanding that DW admittedly broke several school rules which would allow them to take the action they took without there being a "crime" committed. Many religious institutions have these type rules that all students agree too (even though very few read the entire content of the forms), which basically grants the school authority to discipline the student for breaking the school rules, not necessarily the law. It is also my understanding that female involved also admitted to breaking school rules as well. My guess is that no discipline will be handed down to her however. Sad situation all the way around.
August 30, 201214 yr Good point kyvince. Any school rules Wells broke were likely broken by the woman. What is her punishment?
August 30, 201214 yr He's not good enough to go the NBA route. Can't believe UK is even interested in him. Not real gifted on or off the court! Not real in tune to basketball are ya?

August 30, 201214 yr On the way to work this morning I heard the guy on WLW state that there were numerous reports that he visited UK yesterday. Correct. He was spotted on campus today in a golf cart with two coaches. The feeling is UK is the leader.
August 31, 201214 yr Dave Telep @DaveTelep Dez Wells update: Memphis, MD then visits to Ohio State and Oregon. Home by Mon/Tuesday to make decision.
August 31, 201214 yr Correct. He was spotted on campus today in a golf cart with two coaches. The feeling is UK is the leader. At this point I have a hard time understanding why any kid would go to another school if UK wants you enough to have you visit them. No brainer.
