To add to your post....I find it incredibly ironic that people will say Trinity is playing at a different level than Highlands and some Highlands fans take offense but it is fine when they claim to be playing at a different level than the rest of the state. I love irony.

 

Highlands has 5 straight state championships. Also, look at Trinity... According to their enrollment of boys, they should win every year and should be on a different level. It all depends on how you look at things, classification, enrollment, etc. Sure if you throw everything out and just look at strictly on how well a team performs, Trinity has been better. If you look at who has done more with less, Highlands has been better. The truth is, Trinity should destroy Highlands every single year.

I in no way am saying Highlands is not a good football team, just that there is a huge difference in the two programs. To say that Highlands is on the same level as Trinity is a slap in the face to the Rocks program. Just a different level of football. Nothing bad, just facts.

The biggest difference in the two programs is male enrollment.

Do we know what scrimmage format will be used? 10 plays each? Regulation ?

 

Same as last year...regulation for the majority of the time.

The small enrollment argument just doesn't work for Highlands and their fans should really stop using it. The coaches and current players don't use it but I digress... Last year T was clearly on a different level not only from HHS but just about everyone in the country. They did graduate one of the better O-lines in the country and probably the best ever in KY so things may be a little different this year. Especially since I think HHS is going to have a great O-line themselves this year. I expect T to win the scrimmage for whatever that's worth but I think HHS has quite a bit more success this year than in last years scrimmage. Something like 28-17 if they do the 3 quarters format.

Will be a pleasure to see T's senior skill players one more time. Of course, I don't have to defend them.

I think we need to just take the Tim Tebow approach and just wish Boomer(ill-will posters) the best of luck with his broadcasting(their lives) and acknowledge his accomplishments(Trinity's accomplishments, not the pot stirrers who probably never played a down) and move forward to see the BIRDS bring the wood Friday!
