NBA - Lakers, Heat

High school - No one (high school sports are insanely boring)

High School: Nobody. I dislike coaches, not schools

College Basketball: Duke, UC, and IU has a special place of hatred in my heart.

College Football: The Ohio State University

NBA: Whoever is playing the Celtics

NFL: Want to hate the Steelers, but I can only find a strong dislike for Big Ben. Sick of him talking about injuries in the media.

MLB: Tony LaRussa, but now nobody

Soccer: Mexico and Italy

I am with Mex...I do not root against high schools, but some coaches annoy me...I cannot stand IU (mostly b/c of Bully Knight), Big Ben, Ohio St., & LaRussa...

How long does a coach have to be gone for the "rooting against" to subside?

 

My guess is "never" in the case of the wife.

I just can't get over my dislike for IU fans. Going to school in Indiana during IU's impressive run to the Finals was AWFUL. Their nose is permanently in the air.

I didn't like UC at all because of Bob Huggins. While I still don't root for them, they're no longer on the "teams I root against" list. I like Cronin & think he's done an outstanding job rebuilding the UC program.

High School- I'll say Highlands just to say someone. In reality though, I don't mind seeing Highlands win lots of games. It just makes beating them that much sweeter.

NBA-Lakers, although I seldom watch NBA. I enjoy college BB much better.
