November 6, 201312 yr Next Wednesday. Lasts one week... Any one in particular to keep a watch out for?
November 6, 201312 yr Any one in particular to keep a watch out for? Doubt it. Only 10 of the top 100 are still on the board and most of those will wait until spring...
November 6, 201312 yr Here are some ideas I've seen floated so far: * Malik Newman reclassifies (this would be my guess). * Emmanuel Mudiay backs off his SMU commitment. * Dante Exum decides to play in college. And my personal favorite: * Enes is finally eligible. Haha, I love it. Although I was told Newman would not be eligible for the draft regardless if he reclassified. I assume it involves his age. Matthews would be the only legitimate option. Aside from that, UK could legitimately sell Dante Exum the full package, and Cal could really sell him the idea of being #1 in 2015 instead of top 3-5 this year. If that happens, it is possible Exum goes to college. I also read an article in which a fellow Australian basketball player (forget his name), commented on Exum, and how Exum still wants to experience the college environment for a year before going pro.

Jonah Bolden is the player, this will be his first year in the states. Playing on the always uber talented Findlay Prep squad. I wonder how tight he is with Exum? Never the less I look for Exum to go pro, if not things could get very interesting. Kid was by far the best player at last years Hoop Summit and that's saying something with all the talent that was there. He may not have some of the gifts and potential of someone like Randle or Wiggins, but you can tell the kid is primed for big things. He definitely has the "it" factor.

November 6, 201312 yr I believe UK has shown some interest in Bolden, correct? Not sure, if they have I don't think it's been much if any at all. He doesn't list them among the schools he is considering, but will wait until Spring. So I guess there's still time. Coaches, scouts, recruiting guru's, etc. haven't really had the chance to see him play yet so this year at Findlay will determine a lot in his recruitment IMO.
November 6, 201312 yr As much as I like and root for Bolden, I don't think he has the size or strength to play at UK.

November 7, 201312 yr Author Newman is the name I heard. Cal an Antigua visited with him last night. His dad said Cal compared his son to DRose.
November 7, 201312 yr I've seen the names of Newman, Rabb, & Matthews all attached to this reclassification thing.
November 7, 201312 yr I've seen the names of Newman, Rabb, & Matthews all attached to this reclassification thing. Also Montaque Gill-Ceasar would make sense. Positive side for UK fans; If Newman reclassifies, he'd be staying in college for 2 years. And yes, he's good enough to be top 5/10 for the class of 2014. I love his game.
November 7, 201312 yr As much as I like and root for Bolden, I don't think he has the size or strength to play at UK. Especially with UK already having an undersized kid in Ulis who looks like he'll be on the books for awhile.
November 7, 201312 yr Especially with UK already having an undersized kid in Ulis who looks like he'll be on the books for awhile. Again, that's a different Bolden than being discussed. This is a 6'6" Australian kid.
