April 19, 201412 yr The thing about Ulis,, he hits his man in perfect stride. Most passes are in position to shoot. Plus he's great with the lob pass. With Lyles,, the idea hit me with playing him and Alex at the same time as a 3. Lyles at the 3 on offense,, Alex at the 3 on D as he has became one of UKs best defenders. Just an idea. Throw Willis in that role also. Help solve the 3 spot if no more else comes aboard.

April 19, 201412 yr Lyles is a four on both ends of the floor... No way he can play the three, at high school, college, or any level. Kentucky may have a quandary next season but it'll get sorted out. Not really a true wing on the team but they will have to play Alex there a lot and Booker as well. If Dakari leaves it makes things a lot easier as you can start Towns/WCS at the 5 and then go Lyles/Towns at the 4. This leaves you with Lyles/Towns and Lee backing up the four and five spots, Alex or Booker starting at the three. I do agree that Willis may see some minutes at the 3 but only because he can shoot the ball and put it on the deck if he had to. As far as that goes he is probably more capable than Alex in that regard but AP should be able to pull it off with the athleticism as long as he doesn't try to do too much with the dribble. It's on the defensive side of things that worries me about Willis having to play some wing minutes, not sure he can do it.
April 19, 201412 yr Okafor is just silly. He's league ready. He's worked on his body a ton this year and man can you see the difference. He was already the elite player in this class with his post game, but now he's on another level. The way he can run the court and finish with athleticism around the rim is going to really take him into the stratosphere. He already has a very versatile post game with actual skill and post moves but sky's the limit now he is taking the fitness and athleticism aspect seriously. Too often big men are content with just being big (kind of like Dakari), so to see him put the work into trying to get stronger, leaner, quicker, more athletic, etc. is something most NBA people are likely drooling over.
April 19, 201412 yr I really enjoy watching Ulis play. I saw somewhere that a good comparison for Lyles is Carlos Boozer, now everytime I watch him I see Carlos Boozer, anyone else think that's an accurate comparison?
April 19, 201412 yr I would also like some of the posters who follow recruiting to give their input on Jones. I must be missing something because I don't think he is nearly as good as DR Congo Mudiay

Plus his passing is really strong.
