June 2, 201313 yr I shot 88 today at the CC.. I can't score on that stupid course. About to make me give up and fish. Funny you say that. My 4 year old and I did go fishing today. It was about as hit and miss as my golf game lately.

June 3, 201313 yr Played in our 7th annual invitational at Sag Hollow this weekend. Shot 77-79, but finished out of the the top 5 and out of prize contention in the 1st Flight. There were 6 flights plus the championship flight. The championship flight was won by Ryan Martin of Prestonsburg. He shot a 66-65 (-13) to win by 11 shots. And that is no small feat to shoot that kind of score from the back tees (6,900 yds) at Sag Hollow. There were 14 golfers who declared for the championship flight, including former Morehead State golfers Shawn Tipton and Randy Osborne, and former WKU golfers Eric Mason (who is also a 2 time state am champion) and Charlie Cornette, and UK golfer Todd McDaniel. But -2 was the closest score to Martin's amazing score of -13, which included only 2 bogeys in 36 holes of play. The kid is a great golfer for sure, and fun to watch. He also won the tournament last year.with a -8 two day score.

After my first set I am now on my third, I was debating picking up the RBZ irons last year, and I'm still debating this year. I still have the r7's, which are good clubs in their own right. I do have the RBZ 5 and 3 wood's and they are hot. I have hit the RBZ irons, my friend has a set and the ball just bounces off those things. Probably the best feel of any iron I've ever hit. If you want distance and forgiveness, RBZ is the way to go.
