I really like it. I bought it used from Golf Exchange in Lexington and I think it's great. The ball really flies off it.

I kept slicing it at first, to the point that I almost gave up, but after I shifted my wrist position the ball flies 100% straighter now.

I'd like to keep my driver and buy a set of RBZ irons.

Headed to Myrtle Beach for the first time ever tomorrow. I'm only going to play 2 rounds of golf since it's a family vacation

Here's where I'll be teeing it up. Anybody ever played either of these? I'm really looking forward to King's North. I've yet to read anything bad about it.

Men, my son bought me a Vokey SM4 46degree wedge for Father's day. Played with it for the first time today. LOVE IT! I put the pitching wedge from my set up in the assorted club collection in the garage. And I beat him for the first time since April. Shot 80 and he shot 82. I missed 2 easy putts by one revolution of the golfball or I'd have been in the 70's. Finally figuring out the CC course.

Just bought the Titleist CB 712s. They should be here Monday.

I'm taking my first lesson today. My Buddy just started playing and wanted to take a few so I told him I would do it with him. Hopefully it helps.

Played 9 today before it got in the 90's. Course was packed. Shot 42, not stellar today. Missed too many fairways by a short margin and had to approach from the rough. The rough at the CC is a nightmare sometimes.

Played 27 yesterday at Stonecrest (Prestonsburg), paying the price for it today. I hardly ever get a sunburn, but I have roasted myself. Both arms scolded, and unfortunately made the poor attire choice of wearing a snap back hat backwards. Needless to say I have a goofy looking tan line on my forehead today, I am still wearing a snap back. Had to wear a hat to work today and everything just to keep it concealed. Only good thing going for me is I had the idea to take off my sunglasses well before taking off my hat, so at least I did not add racoon eyes to the mix.

I took six weeks off because of a pulled back muscle and also due to travel demands. I played my first round since on Sunday at Griffin Gate. I didn't hit any practice balls, just tried to keep my swing smooth, and I shot 5 over with a triple and a double. Both the blow-ups were short game related which is what always suffers the most for me with the layoff. I only missed one fairway, and the score actually could have been a lot better as I opened up birdie-birdie.

 

It is interesting one can play better after a lay-off. I know for me it is especially mental. When I play a lot, my expectations get too high, and I then get frustrated which makes things worse.

He stayed out the night before fishing a pay lake with our youth pastor and was crying and whining every hole, so on 7 I told him I'd had enough to shut up and play. He didn't so, after the 8th green I drove the cart all the way past the 9th tee box, straight to the truck, took the clubs out and we went home. Not a word was uttered all the way to the house.

A year ago I bought a Dunlop 3 Wood at a Goodwill type store in Ohio, and used it religiously, it quickly became my best club, i could hit it 270-280 off the tee and still get 250 off the deck. i loved that thing. last night, on #11 at my home course i swung and the clubhead went further than the ball. it just popped right off, there is no fixing it, she's done. can we have a moment of silence for my 3 wood?
