July 12, 201214 yr Wouldn't you consider Lohse their ace? Any reason he isn't starting one of the 3 games? I would say 1. Waino 2. Lohse. Outside of that start a few weekends ago vs the Pirates and the month of April, Waino has been Waino. Lohse has been great though. They decided to just roll over the rotation through the All Star Break. I agree with Sweet16 though in that I wouldn't mind Lynn being bumped back.

Especially when you read articles of them a little worried about Lynn's innings. But I would think they would not want Lynn and Kelly going on back to back days.
July 12, 201214 yr I don't like the extra-day layoff, either. It's Thursday ... time to get back to playing games that count.

July 12, 201214 yr Author Heck I would watch a fake game at this point. Is that a game in which one team wants it more than the other team?
July 12, 201214 yr Is that a game in which one team wants it more than the other team?In a fake game, that is possibly the case ...
July 12, 201214 yr Cards send out Wainwright, Lynn, Westbrook. I was hoping Berkman would be back but it looks like he will be on a short rehab stint. Both teams will be fired up but I see the Reds taking 2 of 3. I'll be there for the Sunday night game as well. Watch how you phrase things, major leaguers don't get fired up just ask HT and LRCW. That might construe that they want it a little more than the Reds and that only happens in little league so I've been told.

I'm just glad Kentucky was fired up, and wanted it more than anybody this year. If only Cal could have gotten his previous two Kentucky teams to have been fired up, and wanted it more than West Virginia and UConn.

July 12, 201214 yr Rolen is still a ways off from Stubbs' 0-32 mark. With hard work and dedication Rolen can keep the streak alive into the 0 - thirties and beyond. I just hope Dusty doesn't risk messing things up by spotting Frazier into the lineup. Lot of ragging on Reds offense here, and deservedly so. Dusty gets his fair share of criticism also. The biggest problem on that bench is none other than Brooke Jacoby. Dude couldn't coach someone to hit a beach ball with a tennis racket. Old EE is glad he got away from him. Just signed a FAT contract.
July 13, 201214 yr Wouldn't you consider Lohse their ace? Any reason he isn't starting one of the 3 games? Lohse is now pitching on Saturday and Lynn is being pushed to Monday to give him some extra rest.
