June 13, 201214 yr Very fun game. I can see the Heat winning a game at home but that is about it. The Thunder just have too many bodies, too much size and Scott Brooks is a heck of a coach who knows how to put it all together. And of course Durant is just insanely good shooting the ball.
June 13, 201214 yr Pretty much dead on what I figured. OKC slow start from long layoff. OKC best team late because they are the better team and have fresher legs. I agree OKC could win in Miami but it's pretty daggone hard to win as a visitor at OKC. GREAT crowd there!! Durant showing why he should be the MVP. He's a freak! That tall but shoots lights out when it matters the most. Westbrook always looks out of control. He's so fast I don't think you can defend him. I think Westbrook is the only guy that can stop Westbrook unless you get in front of him like they said. This all without The Beard going off. I love how Collison is a gritty role player. Thought Shane B kept the Heat in it.
June 13, 201214 yr Fun game to watch, Miami shooters came out on fire but as the game wore on they really didn't get that many looks in the second half. Wade shot a ton of jumpers, and I thought (as much as I want to) it would be hard to fault LeBron here, he played a very good game I thought. Game 2 should be interesting to see the adjustments of each team.

June 13, 201214 yr Author Durant best player in the NBA. Not even close. He may very well be, but I am going to let the series run its course first before I make any statements on that. I will say it appears that Durant does possess something intangibly most players do not. James can stuff a stat line and his numbers were not all that bad, but I still not feel like he played all that well. Defensively the Thunder made him work for every basket and dared him to shoot from the perimeter. Durant's length even has a tendency to bother him. Not good for the Heat that Harden only contributed 5 and they still won going away. I hope this series goes 7 because I love great hoops, but also to see the OKC crowd. It is loud in that place.
June 13, 201214 yr LeBron was the 3rd best player on the floor last night. Unless one of the two better going forward is DWade, the Heat won't win a game in this one. James (and Wade) have to play better for them to have a fighter's chance.
June 13, 201214 yr Better jumper. Better team player. Better in the clutch. Better teammate. More versatile. But that's just one aspect of the game. You have to play defense too. Lebron could be considered the best offensive player and the best defensive so that's pretty legit. Offensively though Durant is an assassin. I love KD, I do believe it is now him and Bron at the top of the heap instead of just those two and Kobe. However, I still give Bron the slight edge at this point. Also Durant is a good teammate, but not buying that as a win for him, Lebron is the ultimate teammate. IMO he could have more performances similar to that of ECF Game 6 if he wasn't so unselfish and didn't have the mentality to get his teammates more involved.
