Some good games on the docket at Lexington Catholic include: Montgomery County vs. Lex. Cath., PRP vs. Madison Central, and Woodford County vs. Lexington Catholic.

NKU Team Camp is this weekend. Who are some of the teams participating? I know they normally get a nice contingent of Cincinnati schools like Oak Hills, Anderson, etc

They looked decent but lack a solid post player. Moeves brothers are pretty good with Tanner having a nice game attacking the RIM. If he gets stronger he could really be a player to watch the next two yrs. Helton runs the floor Well and has a nice game but didnt see him post much. Lucas is a solid player who could help them as Well. Hard to say how much losing Mcneil will hurt them. Tanner Moeves will have to be their scorer and Helton will need to be their mule on the boards.[/QUOT

Thanks

Anyone know who will be at the Trancy team camp starting June 6 (I think)?

Newcath Varisity won the Team Camp in Trancy today beat Elder in finals. Newcaths Jv lost in finals.

No question NCC will be loaded next yr but Elder Was 3-18 this past season which had to be their worst in years.

Will be interested to see how CC does against Lincoln, Eastern, Perry Central, & Scott County. Sounds like a good camp.

Try Henry Clay on for a good measuring stick.

Yes I am sure they will be good too. Seems like several teams in that who will test each other. Lincoln was reported on here of winning several lopsided games. How good are they supposed to be this coming year? Also Lex. Catholic went undefeated at their place beating several good teams including Trinity although Trinity was missing Hicks & Quick, and I realize Quick may not play this coming year, but either way sounds like Lex Catholic will be strong again, maybe even better than the past few years. I know Scott Co. lost a lot, but I never count them out, as I know their JV won AAU state last summer, so there must be some talent left over, and Coach Hicks seems to have an idea what he is doing.

Brossart is in Daytona Beach, Florida this week for the Embry-Riddle Team Camp, BUT a funny thing happened on the way to camp - the Baseball Mustangs are making a deep run in the State Tournament - leaving the basketball team short six players who are focused on competing for a state title.

This is what we call a Good Problem. Never did we ever foresee the Mustangs in the Final Four of the baseball big show when we planned the trip. We will soldier on with the 9 remaining available players, which should provide them some good experience and plenty of opportunities playing in both JV and Varsity games.

This is an every-other-year tradition at Brossart (either Embry-Riddle or Coastal Carolina) started by Willie Schlarman back in 1998. Obviously, it has gotten more cost prohibitive as the years have progressed, but since we didn't go to an out of town tournament last season, we were able to make it work.

Will they have enough to play the games on Friday? Who will be suiting up?
