June 28, 201214 yr Last 10 games: 1 HR. 5 RBI, 20 SOs, .132 Avg. Classic Adam Dunn. His low points tend to last up to a month, so lets talk again in a couple of weeks. He'll strike out a lot even when he's hot.
June 29, 201214 yr 416 at bats there over the course of multiple seasons ...You should have the confused icon there ... the actual number is less than half of that. He also has good numbers in the #9 spot ... you want to try him there, too?
June 29, 201214 yr For the record, I get why the Reds traded him. No question about that. I just think Dunn takes unnecessary criticism because he was on a team with no pitching. Amen ...
June 29, 201214 yr You should have the confused icon there ... the actual number is less than half of that. He also has good numbers in the #9 spot ... you want to try him there, too? I still see 416 at bats in the 2 spot which is a good chunk of at bats...Batting 9th is invalid and the at bats there dont even compare to the numer of at bats hitting second... June 30, 201214 yr Last 10 games: 1 HR. 5 RBI, 20 SOs, .132 Avg. Classic Adam Dunn. His low points tend to last up to a month, so lets talk again in a couple of weeks. How do you feel about Jay Bruce?
June 30, 201214 yr For the record, I get why the Reds traded him. No question about that. I just think Dunn takes unnecessary criticism because he was on a team with no pitching. A friend of mine just said last week that "Dunn caused the Reds to lose for 6 years." Uhh, ok.
June 30, 201214 yr A friend of mine just said last week that "Dunn caused the Reds to lose for 6 years." Uhh, ok. He's right. Didn't you see Dunn's ERA for those years?
June 30, 201214 yr A friend of mine just said last week that "Dunn caused the Reds to lose for 6 years." Uhh, ok. That's code for, "I don't know what I'm talking about."
June 30, 201214 yr A friend of mine just said last week that "Dunn caused the Reds to lose for 6 years." Uhh, ok. Hard to talk intelligent baseball with people like that.
June 30, 201214 yr How do you feel about Jay Bruce? Last 10: 1 HR. 8 RBI. 9 R. .250 Avg. 4 SO. You tell me...
June 30, 201214 yr Last 10: 1 HR. 8 RBI. 9 R. .250 Avg. 4 SO. You tell me... Isn't the season more than 10 games long? Since Dunn has more runs scored, homeruns, RBIs and a better OBP I would say it is safe to say that I could find some similar 10 game stretches in Dunn's season. Both players are very streaky.

Yep. sure you could. Season is more than 10 games. Want to reference last season??
June 30, 201214 yr Yep. sure you could. Season is more than 10 games. Want to reference last season?? Want to reference their career production through the same ages?
June 30, 201214 yr I have no dog in this fight and actually I'm not even sure what the argument really is but I have nothing better to do Adam Dunn thru his first 4 Seasons: (IN BLUE), Jay Bruce thru his first 4 Seasons: (IN RED) Hits: 430, 475 2B: 92, 82 3B: 4, 10 HR: 118, 100 RBIs:273, 277 SBs: 37, 20 BBs: 348, 200 Ks: 565, 479 AVG: .249, .256 OBP: .382, .331
