I have several friends I text way more than any girl. It's always been that way. Also I have a couple of friends I talk to on the phone three or four times a week. Besides them and my Mom I literally talk to nobody on the phone.

 

Only guys I usually talk to on the phone are a buddy of mine that lives in Memphis and another in Maryland and that is usually just to catch up like once a month or so.

 

My texting goes up quite a bit during NCAA Basketball season because I have quite a few buddies that we are always talking about the Cats, game day or not lol.

Im in the same boat as spindoc and Clyde. I trade a text or two with my wife every day and the occasional phone call, maybe average of 1 per day.

 

I maybe have a total of 100 text in a month, I cannot imagine having anywhere near what some have posted. 500 texts would be hall of fame numbers compared to me.

One call a day unless something serious with the kids is going on. No texts, ever. I can call much quicker than I can text. My wife feels the same way.

I hate talking on the phone. Despise it. I'll text all day. I text my wife about 6-10 times a day depending what is going on. Sometimes more. And we work together at Corning also. Very similar hours. I have my wife, stepson(17) and daughter(15) on my phone plan and I text more than all of them. I'll not answer the phone and then fire a text to the caller. :lol:

Pretty similar with the girlfriend....Never talk on the phone during the day, probably closer to 1500 text messages in a month.

No, not even close to that. I probably average in total, to all people, both sent and received, about 1500 text messages a month.

My son who is at college is on a shared plan with me. Stunning! A little over halfway through the monthly billing cycle and he's at 4000.

I can think of only 1 reason someone would call or text their S.O that much. It's called insecurity. Apparently Petrino is rich in that department.
