April 12, 201214 yr Hardly ever text Mrs. S, much less call her. If I get a call from her, I know something bad is happening or has happened. By the same token, my daughter and I exchange texts at least once a day. Most of the time, I'm texting her to tell her to call me.

April 12, 201214 yr The news that Bobby P texted his gal pal 4300 times in a matter of months plus 300 calls got me thinking. Who talks/texts with their significant other that much? No one has a better marriage than me. It is an odd day if I talk to my wife more than twice a day on the phone. I assume I am in the majority, right? Then you and I both have the best marriages on the planet. And I'm not sure what this says about me, but I text LRCW more than my wife. Especially during baseball season.

April 12, 201214 yr I had one buddy in high school that sent/received over 8,000 text messages in one month to one girl....who wasn't his girlfriend. His mother confirmed the number. Obviously not all went to the same girl, but I'd venture to say 6-7 thousand were hers.

April 12, 201214 yr I have several friends I text way more than any girl. It's always been that way. Also I have a couple of friends I talk to on the phone three or four times a week. Besides them and my Mom I literally talk to nobody on the phone.
