August 16, 201610 yr Someone hit a streetcar today. The car didn't win but it did take a chunk out of Cinci's Desire. Saw this as i was coming out of the tunnel on the way home last night. I think more people were paying attention to this than the Reds game.

August 16, 201610 yr The government usually doesn't give companies money they give tax breaks to allow companies to keep more of their own money. Big difference. But in Cincinnati's case they seem to like to give loans to businesses who can't pay them back. Mahogany's?
August 16, 201610 yr It looks to me like the car may have been parked on the tracks... What I remember reading late last night was something to the effect was that the car jumped a red light and charged into a streetcar that had right of way. Haven't seen that backed up by any public release.
August 16, 201610 yr I don't plan to ride the streetcar but I hope they are kept cleaner than the Metro's I have seen. I wonder how often they will be brought in for a thorough scrubbing. Mass transit, if not well maintained can get really nasty, really fast.
August 17, 201610 yr This might be the third. If we have a bad weather this winter it could get ugly. When the expressway is jammed I hit the side streets and it's usually still horrible. Now add one less lane on multiple streets and it will be worse.
