I've been a die hard UK fan for 35 years and I have never felt insulted by Rick Pitino.I appreciate what He did for UK basketball and it's fans while He was at UK.The only thing I have ever felt insulted by is so called UK fans that can't win or lose with class!:thumb:

Not gonna lie, I don't care what insults you. Just sharing my feelings I you don't feel the same that's ok. I am insulted that you would refer to me as a so called UK fan. Once, again it's not classy to call another person classless. It's a contradiction at best.

Okay and comma*

Post like this shouldn't be aloud.:banana::banana::banana::banana:

Anthony Davis is the best college basketball player I have seen since Bill Walton. What didn't he do tonight? Rebound, blocked shots, unstoppable offensively, handled the ball in the open court flawlessly, put it on the floor and took it to the rim. The only thing missing was a 3 pointer.

IMO, this was Darius Miller's finest moment as a UK player. Just huge plays on both ends of the floor when his team needed most and playing with more confidence than I have ever seen out of him.

MKG - for all his talents and his incredible skill in the open court taking it to the rim, his will to win is the most impressive thing about him.

Teague played a great game. It still drives me crazy when he leaves his feet to pass the ball while on the move, but he is awesome taking it to the rim and finishing. Great decision making all night. Only 2 turnovers under unrelenting pressure by the Cards.

Wiltjer made a big impact in the limited minutes he played. The thing I liked the most out of him tonight was his defense - best defensive game I have seen him play all year.

Hey, I thought if it was close in the last five minutes that Pitino was supposed to out coach Calipari.

Pitino mentioned all the guys coming back. If they are so good, won't some enter the draft?

No. Siva's not ready. Dieng wants his degree first. Chane's not ready. Blackshear needs at least another season. Russ isn't ready. Justice isn't ready. Nunez isn't ready.

Never said you were classless or a so called UK fan.Just stating my opinion that 18% of UK fans are so called UK fans and are classless!:thumb:

A few thoughts after the game:

- Anthony Davis is by far the best player in America. Hard not to like him.

- MKG is another the one that is fun to watch. Kid plays with a lot of heart and emotion, without seeming too cocky.

- UK will not lose to either team in the other semi-final.

- Saw flashes of what Wayne Blackshear could be for the Cardinals.

- Dieng looked lost for the first 10 minutes of the game, that really hurt Louisville.

- I still love the way Russ plays. Kid is absolutely fearless, and you need a guy like that.

- Glad that Kyle Kuric got to play in a Final Four in his senior season. Very well deserved. He will be missed.

- The future looks bright for Louisville. They return Siva, Russ Smith, Blackshear, Behanan, Dieng, Marra, Van Treese.

Agree with everything you said here. :thumb:

I would add Teague's start & how that helped Kentucky jump out early. I thought that was key.

Cats are going to have to play better Monday night if they want to cut down #8. Very glad to see them get this win.

It hasn't sunk in yet.........we are playing on Monday night. I am so pumped. Just love this team and really want Cal to get the Monkey off his back. I honestly think the turning point for these guys was when MKG gave up his starting spot in NOLA a few weeks ago to get DM jump started (announcers tonight should of been all over that). Just shows the character of this team and how much the young guys look up to DM and how much they respect him. If anyone saw the pregame segment on DM, I thought it was really good and I loved the AD comments saying they would not be where they are without him. Classy bunch of youngsters for sure. Not gonna lie, lots of tears flowing during the last minute of this game. Glad I watched it alone. :D

Time to celebrate!

Jay Bilas tweet: Whole lotta charges called in this game. Most, if not all of them, were blocks. The charge/block call is out of control.

Glad to see someone of his stature comment on it. I agree 100%. I have been ranting about it all season on both the college and high school level. I applaud great defense and taking a charge. I loved doing it when I played. But refs today want to call charge anytime a player makes an attempt to draw a charge and there is a contact. I saw one good charge in tonight's UK game and that was the one Siva took on Davis. I am with Bilas ... it is out of control.

Bilas has been all over the charge/block all season, and I can't agree with him (and you) more.

Congrats to UK they are the better team. Good luck Monday.

If Cal don't win it on Monday UK fans better ask for a refund........

The 3 year ride we have already had with Coach Cal has paid his account in full.

I do find it ironic that a Dukie is leading the charge against the charge (pun intended).

In support of rockmom's comments, if you look at the NBA mock drafts, there isn't one UL player projected to be drafted.
