April 1, 201214 yr L1CU Later! Just heard the Italian Turncoat on TV babbling about the Olympics and the bronz metal. Honestly, I think it's a slap in the face the he doesn't mention the Unforgettables when he mentions his favorite teams. He likes this year and last year's UL team because of their effort. April 1, 201214 yr Some of my thoughts: How can UK hit 35 of 37 free throws against Indiana and then shoot bricks tonight? And the 3rd foul on MKG, a charge, was as bogus as it gets. The defender was up in the air with MKG when their bodies collided. I think MKG getting in early foul trouble threw UK off pace a little. If he stays in the game I think they have a 15 point halftime lead. But the refs won't call blocking fouls anymore. I was really impressed with Louisville's offensive rebounding tonight. UK allowed them to get too many 2nd and 3rd attempts, but at times they simply outhustled the Cats. Anthony Davis is now my all time favorite UK player (regardless what happens Monday night), replacing Dan Issel. He deserves every award he's getting. That kid wasn't going to allow UK to lose tonight.

April 1, 201214 yr UK did win the game right? I mean I respect Louisville for their efforts, but can we please talk about some of the UK players that played in this game? Miller carried the entire state of Kentucky on his back. Davis proved he's the player of the year on the biggest state you can play on as a basketball player. By far the biggest sporting event this state has ever seen. UK gets the bragging rights for a long, long time.
