Philip Phillips is a great musician. Joshua and Jessica can't arrange the songs like Philip.

 

I don't care for Joshua. The judges keep saying he takes the audience to church. If I wanted that, I would go to church every Wednesday and Thursday.

Btw, I can't stand how the judges are trying so hard to "push" Joshua through. All the standing ovations? Not really earned in my opinion.

Joshua is by far my favorite of the ones left. His voice is amazing and his passion is always felt.

Give me a final of Josh and Phillip and I wont care who wins.

Agreed. And I think they are pusshing Jessica too. I think they want those two in the final.

All 3 have been mentioned by the judges as legit chances to win so I've never felt any one was being "pushed."

I think without a doubt the judges are trying to persuade the voters for a Joshua/Jessica final. IMO, Phillip is the best and has the brightest future. Wish the judges wouldn't make their preferences so obvious. Since saving Jessica, they have to justify their decision.

American Idol Logic:

So if the judges want Josh to win it all, they are going to push harder for Jessica.

I do think the judges were holding back on the Philip praise last night because they want Josh as last man standing.

Tonight's vote was a travesty. It should have been Josh in the final, not Jessica.

 

I'd say Steven's comment about her winning the whole thing helped her considerably. On the other hand, Josh might have been victim of the "Daughtry Effect," where people don't vote for the favorite, because they think they don't need their vote.

I actually think they got it right. I could have cared less who went between Joshua and Jessica as long as Phillip made it to the finals. IMO, both Joshua and Jessica are boring and have no real future in the music industry.

I agree for the most part. I think Phillip has a future in what we concider to be the regular music industry.

 

I don't think Josh has a future in what we concider the traditional radio music industry, but I could see him donig well in the stage music industry like broadway. He's a very good showman and has a lot of charisma.

 

I won't deny that she has a good voice, and I've never been able to quite put my finger on it, but there is just something about Jessica that I don't like. That being said. In one of the early shows she said one of her music idols was Selena. I could see her following Selena's path and becoming huge in the Latin music community.

I don't know what everybody has against Jessica Sanchez. She is the best singer in the competition. She may lack a little in the performance area, but she is only 16 years old. I like Phillip Phillips, but I can't get past his facial contortions. I liked Josh also, but he screamed a little too much for me.

I was really surprised that Joshua was voted out, but they really can't go wrong with any of the three IMO.

Tonite summarized Jessica perfectly for me. Great talent. Bores me to tears.
