March 29, 201214 yr Anybody watching this season? Entertaining show tonight, with older songs. Stevie Nicks was tonight's coach. Stevie and contestant Elise harmonized together on a Fleetwood Mac favorite, "Dreams". Many very enjoyable performances tonight. And a few not so much. Who is your favorite so far?
March 29, 201214 yr Flipping through the channels tonight and can't the recap from all the singers and I must say that this season seems terrible. Not one singer stood out as a true entertainer. Show has lost its mojo if you ask me.

Talented singers without question but talent isn't enough to "make it." The skinny 16 yr old girl with the pipes of a professional singer will never be a "hit." Tough gig.
March 29, 201214 yr I haven't watched in years, and only did then because Mrs. S was a big fan. She's lost interest and we haven't watched a single episode this year, even though there were 2 local kids that made the initial 24, Jeremy Rosado, from Valrico, and Shannon Magrane, who attends high school at Tampa Blake, a performing arts magnet where my niece goes to school.

Although I'll say this year's top sevenish are better than I've seen in several years. IMO lots of talent on this year's show, and several chances at future hit makers. Elise is very, very good. She'll never win, and will likely be gone next week, but she's really good. Watch her Zepplin cover or her Gaga cover. Philip and Colton are also very good, and either could win. Philip has a solid Dave Mathews thing going on, though I'm getting tired of it. The rest are also very talented and do a good job, the country girl from Miss. excluded.

The girl from MS is one of the more annoying people I can recall on the show. I feel bad for people from MS just watching her.
April 13, 201214 yr I have been on again/off again on Idol. This season has turned it an off again year for me. I have watched a little but no one has grabbed my interest enough to make me want to pay more attention. One thing is certain though - I watch the Idol on the road auditions part of every season. There is always guaranteed entertainment there.

Little girl that got the save last night is very talented but needs much more experience. Blonde girl from England--surprised she is still on. Country girl--please go away soon! Joshua has a big voice but not sure if he has the rest of the entertainer package. Phillip Phillips is my favorite. But most intrigued with Colton Dixon. He has a solid entertainer foundation that could develop into something special. Plus he is a likeable guy.
